The matrics undertook their annual excursion to Natal from 6 February to 8 February 2019. The trip started off with a game drive at pheZulu Safari Lodge after which we were treated to a Zulu experience of dances and cultural activities. The Crocodile and Reptile Park, afterwards, had some pupils facing their worst fears by holding a snake.
The group had several visits to the centre of Durban where they visited the Natural Science Museum, the Durban Art Gallery and they also attended a show in the Durban Theatre. An afternoon at Durban’s North Beach was enjoyed by all of them, some swimming, other riding pedal karts and others just walking along the beach.
The trip finished off with a visit to uShaka visiting the aquarium, watching the dolphin show and spending a short time at the Wet and Wild water park.
