The Harriston Boarding Establishment offers a safe and nurturing environment on the school campus. Boarders are cared for by a House Mother, Boarder Master and Assistant Matron as well as an additional live-in teacher doing duty. Primary school boarders join the aftercare group at school in the afternoons where a teacher oversees the homework.
Boarding is offered on a weekly basis. The Boarding Establishment is open throughout the year except during holidays and half-term breaks.
Boarders are accommodated in houses with three separate bedrooms, each room housing no more than four pupils. Each house offers a recreational area as well as bathroom facilities. Full balanced meals are provided three times a day in our dining room by in-house staff. Snacks and a drink are provided at break-time and after devotions in the evenings. A comfortable recreation room is provided equipped with a TV and DVD machine as well as a data projector.
Supervised study sessions are compulsory each day. Staff members are present at each session to assist boarders when necessary. Computers and a printer are available for research and other projects.
Pupils also have access to controlled Wi-Fi on the boarding property.
